The clients are revolting and more of them are keen to see us face to face…
We don’t think it’s only because we serve ‘proper’ coffee, or that we have an endless supply of chocolate chip cookies at the studio… It’s because they’re missing the creative face to face meetings that Zoom/Video calls simply can’t deliver.
Working remotely can sometimes stifle the creative nature of our work. Clients are missing being part of the design team, bouncing ideas around and solving problems. So with that in mind, we’re having to adapt our studio environment and put some new systems in place:
- We’re creating a Safe Outdoor Space (SOS) that can be used to brainstorm ideas when we meet with clients whilst maintaining social distancing guidelines.
- As the team are being phased back into the studio, we’re fitting large protective screens between each work station.
- Hand sanitising points will be at the entry and exit, as well as throughout the studio space.
- We’ve bulk ordered antibacterial wipes and PPE which will be available onsite – hopefully, the face masks will also serve to muffle a certain more vocal member of the team (you know who you are).
- When it comes to a cuppa, it looks like it’ll be everyone for themselves from now on – pick your favourite mug colour and stick to it (hands-off the Pantone 376 lime green one – that’s mine!).
With all of these measures in place, the Right Angle Studio will soon comply with government guidelines. We can’t wait to get back to a new normal and to business (not) as usual. The first client meeting’s creeping up fast… so we’d better carry on preparing for their arrival and get those cookies ready!
If you fancy popping in for a coffee and a chat, we’d love to have you! Just let us know when suits and we’ll do our best to fit you in.
