GEO (Green Energy Options) design and build smart, connected home energy systems to help people understand and engage with their energy use. Geo approached us to refresh their existing logo as they felt it didn’t best represent their brand as being at the forefront of smart energy technology. There was one limitation in that they didn’t want to change the typeface as it was already being used throughout the company on products, stationary, etc, however this was not a problem and we started the process of re-designing their logo.
We developed a new identity that was focused around a colourful shape which can be used with the ”GEO” text or separately as an icon. This new approach created an instantly recognisable, strong and memorable design that we presented to the client on examples of products, building facias, envelopes, business cards, brochures and other stationery.
After gradually implementing the new logo throughout their range of products and internal media and communications they have gone on to win a Queens Award for Enterprise in Innovation for their range of innovative energy monitors with their new logo at the forefront of their company.
