Klic Investments approached Right Angle to develop and strategise their brand. They wanted to enter the investment market under the same alias as their existing property company, VLH. However, we advised them to choose a stronger name for positioning and SEO. They settled on the name Klic – an acronym for Kings Lynn Investment Capitol. The team got straight into discovery boards and meetings with the client to understand the project. 

Design

Our client wanted a contemporary brand, so we used a minimalist sans-serif font. The colour palette helped to give the brand a luxurious feel and after research, we arrived at the final combination of gold and slate grey. A classy approach – yet timeless, understated and bold.

To illustrate investments, each vertical part of the logo text is a segment of a bar chart. The ‘K’ was transformed into an arrow, symbolising investments flowing back into the business and the coloured ‘I’ added visual interest and could represent a single investment or a person, depending on the viewer’s interpretation.

Deliver

Klic now has a concise ‘Kit of parts’ which includes;

Main logo adaptions, new primary and secondary fonts, a corporate colour palette, stationery templates (Email Signature, Invoice Set – Xero Format, Letterhead – Design layout and digital artwork, Powerpoint – Cover and Master page template).

This will ensure consistent and accurate brand usage by all staff members going forward.
