Annual Report 2022

5th year running (half a decade)! Right Angle Creative have a long-standing relationship with Kodak and have had the opportunity of designing the report every year since 2018.

We were asked to create a new, refreshed look for the 112 pager. With the report releasing in September, Right Angle cleverly combined colour, illustration and photography to capture the richness of Autumn. Moving away from Kodaks corporate red and royal blue, we introduced a new colour palette set; key lime green and orange and teal, which were used throughout the document. This created a brighter, more concise report.

A base-line grid system was also designed to allow the content to be arranged flexibly across the report, providing a solid structure to the overall design language. Using tables, infographics and charts to emphasise key messages helped to weave together the text and autumn-inspired imagery.

Tight deadlines. Pizza. Attention to detail. This year was no different, Right Angle worked as a team with Kodak to get the best and most efficient outcome. As with every year, it was another fantastic project to work on and we can’t wait to see what’s in store in 2023.

Annual Report 2021

For the 4th year in a row, Kodak Alaris asked Right Angle Creative to design and artwork their annual report. Similar to the previous years, the main focus was to emphasise the outstanding photography they have at their disposal. Creating a balanced report that equally highlights each individual sector of the business comes with its challenges, but it isn’t anything Right Angle hasn’t tackled before.

Although the report this year was slightly smaller (110 pages), there was still plenty of information to go around. We had to provide extra emphasis on both infographics and tables to help compact and process all the information. The 2021 report also introduced a new corporate colour scheme of red, British racing green and royal blue. This helped make the document more cohesive and fluid throughout.

No different from previous years, we had to work to tight deadlines and structured layouts to achieve the best outcome possible. Once again, we thoroughly enjoyed this project along with all the others since 2018 and very much look forward to the next report in 2022.

Annual Report 2020

The 120 page Kodak Alaris Annual Report 2020 has been completely re-designed and artworked by Right Angle Creative. Capturing the essence of Kodaks history in photography was at the forefront of this years design, stunning full-bleed photography and striking graphics give this report an upmarket feel and an elevated visual presence.

The enhanced infographics and charts consist of four vibrant core colours of orange, green, pink and teal. These colours are in stark contrast to the more subdued Kodak corporate colour pallette.

As is the ‘norm’ with annual reports, we had to balance sensitive financial information together with complex layouts and extremely tight print deadlines. We’re grateful to have been be an integral part of the Kodak Alaris team since 2018 and are very much look forward to starting work on next years report.

Annual Report 2019

For the 2019 Kodak Alaris annual report, we used a strong blue accent colour together with compelling feature images selected from their extensive library, to represent the key areas of the business.

The project was delivered on budget to a tight deadline, with sensitive data arriving at the very last minute, as is the ‘norm’ with annual reports.

Annual Report 2018

Kodak Alaris are a manufacturer and marketer of traditional photographic supplies (including film, paper, and processing chemicals), hardware and software for digital imaging, information management and retail printing kiosks.

Right Angle created the design concept and digital artwork for their 104 page 2018/19 Annual Report and Accounts. This strategic report features high resolution imagery, digital graphs and financial diagrams as well as an Independent auditors report, consolidated financial statements and performance figures for the year.

As with all projects of this nature, a confidentiality agreement was put in place to ensure the safeguarding of all sensitive data before the report was released.
