Maldon Lettings, liked their existing logo but they didn’t ‘love it’ so they asked us if there was any way we could give it a refresh for their upcoming 10 year anniversary.

Right Angle has extensive experience in handling brand refreshes. The aim is to give it a new lease of life while retaining the instant recognition of the existing brand.

Maldon Lettings liked the history of the business and the use of sails in the logo, as they were so close to the docks. This sparked a conversation around the idea of them earning a third sail, creating an abstract “M” to represent a decade in business.

The sails provide an instantly recognisable, relevant design that customers will remember when passing the shop or seeing a “to let” board.

We designed the business cards and large format banners to have a die-cut sails symbol in order to let the light (and wind) through and add to the drama and memorability of the brand.
